The Story
After having severe acne since the age of 12, I had accepted that it was just part of my life. I have tried Murad,
Proactive, antibiotics, prescription creams, and countless over the counter products hoping that I would find
something, anything that would help. No makeup could possibly cover all the damage on my skin. By the age of 22, I
had basically given up hope. The bumps, redness, and scars were noticeable from a mile away. I always felt like
people were looking at my acne, and I was right- they were. I used to be afraid to have conversations close up, and I
would often hide behind my hair or cover my face while talking to people. These things were all huge factors in the
way I felt about myself and interacted with people.
